Position Summary/Job Description

The International Sales Engineer is responsible for leading and overseeing the development and growth of new international business for the offshore market. You will be required to create, apply, and execute an effective sales strategy that covers all offshore markets outside of the GOM. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for different aspects of the business development and sales cycle process, as well as consulting services to the client.  Applicant will work remote and report directly to the CEO.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify lead and contact points
  • Create and execute sales presentations
  • Advise clients on how to best use the product or services provided
  • Demonstrate technical competence on all Seismos technologies
  • Ensure quality after-sales services
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience (knowledge, skills and abilities)

  • Completions and/or Reservoir engineering background
  • 7+ years of offshore completion engineering experience with an Operator or E&P company
  • Experience with hydraulic fracturing or other offshore stimulation techniques is a must
  • Possess technical ability to synthesize multiple sources of data (geological data, treatment parameters, subsurface data, real-time fracture measurements, etc.) to perform detailed analyses and derive conclusions of stimulation performance
  • Technical skills to demonstrate to customers the usefulness of the product and services
  • Demonstrable experience in selling technology products to completion engineers
  • Solid active network of contacts within international E&P companies & Operators
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Results driven
  • Thinker - NOT talker

 

Work Environment & Travel

  • Remote
  • Occasional travel to conferences, client meetings, remote team meetings (< 60%)
