Position Summary/Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to help drive the Seismos overall marketing efforts. You should be a competent professional able to grasp customer behavior trends, generate creative ideas and execute with little supervision. You should be well-versed in technical marketing concepts, principles, and tactics.

As an ideal candidate you should have the ability to write technical papers and translate technical content into articles for publication or presentations at various forms and forums.

 You will help Seismos create a strong brand presence with innovative strategies, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events both virtually and in person. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. 

Duties:

• Design and create marketing content
• Provide marketing support to the sales and completions teams
• Write technical articles/blogs 
• Enhance sales and technical presentations
• Plan and update content/abstract/ event calendar
• Manage in-person and online events
• Strengthen company’s social media presence
• Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events

Requirements:

• Very well-organized and detail-oriented
• Proven experience as a marketing specialist
• 3+ years of marketing experience in Oil and Gas
• Solid software skills, including MS Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, Wondershare Filmora X, PremierePro, Google Analytics, Hotspot, SEO
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development tools (Duda, Wix)
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
• Familiar with Oil and Gas (completion operations)
• High engagement with associations, organizations, and events in the sector

Work Environment & Travel

• Standard office environment
• Occasional travel to conferences (< 10%)
